To mark the 50th edition of Knokke Art Fair, we proudly present the Art Bag Thitzx50eKNAF!
The Artist
|
German artist Thitz rose to worldwide fame with his paintings surrounded by handles. He travels the world and reimagines cities into his own “utopia” version. This is the very first time he creates a piece dedicated to Knokke.
His work is part of renowned museum and private collections such as the Frieder Burda Museum, the Würth Collection, the August Oetker Collection, the Seoul Museum, and has been featured at fairs like Art Basel Miami and exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale 2019. During Knokke Art Fair, from 9 to 17 August, the original painting used as the basis for the bag will be on display in the iconic Magritte Hall. Every day, you can meet Michael Oëss from the Neue Kunst gallery in Karlsruhe, representing Thitz; and on select days, the artist himself will be present! |
The Bag

This luxurious and sustainable Art Bag is made of Belgian linen, woven in Belgium.
The Libeco company, founded in 1858, is the benchmark for premium Belgian linen and holds a Royal Warrant by the Belgian Royal Court. The inside features a key holder and two spacious zip pockets. The main bag opens and closes easily with press buttons and measures approximately 38 cm wide, 36 cm high, and 15 cm deep. |
Together Against Child Poverty

By purchasing this Art Bag, you support Pelicano, the Belgian foundation combatting child poverty. Their efforts have helped reduce child poverty from 20% to 13% in five years, though this is still too high. The organizers of the Knokke Art Fair have supported this cause for years and sincerely thank all buyers for their contribution.
